However, the work on east tower was not completed to date. It is also known as the La Maquita, One Armed Lady. The architecture of this Cathedral is something worth watching. There are numerous wood carvings and paintings throughout its construction.
Along with Malaga’s historical places, home of Pablo Picasso in the Plaza de la Merced is also very famous among the tourists and must not be missed. Picasso is known all over the world for his paintings and sculptures. He was born here in Malaga in 1881. You can visit his place of birth and to view his art work you can visit a museum. This museum has recently been opened and contains few of the Picasso’s amazing sculptures and paintings.
Like other Andalucian cities, Malaga is also known as a friendly city. This friendly nature can be seen anytime, whether day or night. Here in Malaga, you will witness a festive atmosphere during holidays. You will see the celebrations and the parades. During Easter, there are several functions and events held in the streets. Anyhow, in order to enjoy the complete magic and spirit of Andalucia, one doesn’t need to come here only in holiday. In the old fishermen’s neighbourhood, there are numerous wonderful restaurants, bars and pubs. There you will also witness locals singing cultural flamenco songs.
